PENNEP is seeking a talented and dedicated Quality Analyst to join our client’s dynamic team. The ideal candidate maintains and ensure compliance with procedures and metrics that impact quality throughout the organization. Perform quality analyses and inspections, monitor the effectiveness of various processes through use of data and internal auditing programs. Liaise with external vendors and suppliers to ensure that their products or services meet the organization's quality standards. Prepare flowcharts, forms, communications and audits for quality system implementation and compliance. May be trained/certified in methodologies like Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen etc.


  • Follow-up 30 day phone call to patients in the STS Registry to complete abstraction requirements.
  • Work with Q-Centrix Abstraction Agency on variances found in the chart upon abstraction to determine why it had a clinical variance in the abstraction. Participate in case review as needed post abstraction.
  • Participates in the planning, implementation, and monitoring of data collection and reporting software systems Oversight and management for clinical outcome data management in activities such as developing and implementing data management plans, coordinating and performing data collection and analysis, and development, implementation, and training.
  • Understands all of the software application systems utilized by Quality Management and keeps abreast of updates through continuing education.
  • Provides training, as needed, on these software application systems.
  • Researches processes and external regulations; collaborates with various members of clinical departments, support services, Medical Staff and administration, providing data and statistical support.
  • Responsible for retrospective and prospective case review, data collection, and entry and aggregation from medical records based on approved clinical criteria.
  • Develops data displays to assist the quality team with analysis and presentation to appropriate medical staff policy committees and medical departments


  • Registered Nurse in Texas, active license is required.


An Associate or Bachelors required.
