Epic Client Systems Administrator

PENNEP is seeking an experienced Epic Client Systems Administrator (ECSA) to join our client and manage, configure, and maintain Epic environments supporting clinical and operational systems. The right candidate will have hands-on experience with Epic hyperspace and web/server administration, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively across IT and healthcare teams. This role requires active Epic ECSA certifications and direct experience supporting Epic infrastructure in a production healthcare setting.

• Administering and maintaining Epic environments to ensure reliability, security, and performance.
• Managing hyperspace deployment, web and service server administration, and related Epic components.
• Overseeing system integrations, upgrades, patches, and new releases.
• Monitoring system performance and proactively addressing bottlenecks or infrastructure issues.
• Partnering with internal teams and Epic technical services to resolve complex issues.
• Maintaining detailed documentation for configurations, upgrades, and troubleshooting.
• Ensuring compliance with HIPAA and healthcare security standards.
• Supporting clinical and technical teams with environment-related needs and escalations.

• 3–5 years of Epic system administration experience with direct involvement in hyperspace, web, and infrastructure support.
• Strong background in Windows server administration, maintenance, networking, and virtualization.
• Familiarity working with Epic and Epic Applications within healthcare IT environments.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a remote setting.
