PENNEP is seeking a talented and dedicated Business Program Manager. The ideal candidate is creative, business savvy, customer-minded individuals the opportunity to program mange develop Transportation Electrification emerging technology and outreach/education products and services for client that will serve residential customers and underserved communities while helping client achieve our strategic objectives and priorities. Products could include demand response programs, web tools, payment options, pricing plans, technology offerings (electric vehicle infrastructure), etc.


  • The team size is 16 people with a mixture of client employees and contractors. This individual will be using C2M, Maximo, IQGeo, Excel, Word and potentially Salesforce
  • What would “a day in the life” of this role look like?: This individual will be working with multiple departments to stand up a new program supporting EV infrastructure buildout at multi-family housing and commercial properties (supporting workplace and public charging).
  • A lot of meeting to coordinate the work and responding to emails to communicate and coordinate work. A lot of interaction with team members and some interaction with the hiring manager.


  • Typically, 5-7 years of professional experience.
  • Project Management
  • Utility/ Transportation Electrification experience
  • Ability to communicate complex concepts
  • Demonstrated product development and marketing experience that showcases an understanding of how to engage customers and evaluate programs.
  • Working knowledge of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion best practices
  • Excellent project management skills.
  • Self-starter, capable of operating at a high level of autonomy.
  • Strong analytic and problem-solving ability.
  • Excellent communication skills to write concise reports, deliver high quality presentations, negotiate contracts, facilitate meetings, deliver presentations and prepare project documentation.

  • Able to translate technical concepts into easy to understand wording


A minimum of four-year degree in business, economics, marketing, communications or similar field.
