As a Data Scientist, you will lead the charge in transforming existing Population Health algorithms into production-ready solutions. Responsibilities

  • 5 years of specific experience in Data Science, with a focus on the Population Health subject area.
  • Lead the effort to transform a current Population Health algorithm into a production-ready state. This includes standardizing data models, output formats, and comprehensive documentation.
  • Ensure that the Population Health algorithm meets the necessary criteria for production use, including scalability, efficiency, and reliability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data engineers, architects, and other stakeholders, to integrate the refined algorithm seamlessly.
  • Create detailed documentation for the standardized data models, output, and any modifications made to the Population Health algorithm.
  • Perform rigorous testing and validation to ensure the accuracy and effectiveness of the transformed algorithm.
  • Ensure that the transformation project is completed within the specified timeline, meeting the project's deadlines.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience as a Data Scientist, with a specific focus on Population Health.
  • Strong knowledge of data modeling, statistical analysis, and machine learning techniques.
  • Proficiency in Python, R, or other programming languages commonly used in data analysis.
  • Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, or AWS.
  • Strong knowledge of statistical analysis, machine learning algorithms, and predictive modeling techniques.
  • Familiarity with natural language processing (NLP) techniques for text mining and sentiment analysis.
  • Ability to manipulate and analyze complex datasets using SQL or other database query languages.
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically about business challenges.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex findings in a clear and concise manner.
