PENNEP is seeking an experienced Accountant to join our team in India. The Accountant will be responsible for maintaining financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations. The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and knowledge of accounting principles and practices.


  • Maintain accurate payroll, and financial records, including journal entries, balance sheets, and income statements.
  • Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations, including GAAP and local tax laws.
  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, including invoicing and collections.
  • Conduct regular audits of financial records to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies.
  • Prepare and file tax returns and other financial reports as required.
  • Develop and implement financial controls and procedures to ensure compliance and accuracy.
  • Collaborate with other teams, including sales and operations, to provide financial insights and support.
  • Stay up to date on the latest accounting trends and regulations to ensure compliance and accuracy.


  • 2+ years of experience in accounting or a related field.
  • Knowledge of accounting principles and practices, including GAAP and local tax laws.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve financial discrepancies.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Proficient in accounting software, such as QuickBooks and Tally.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with other teams and provide financial insights and support.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • CPA or CA certification is a plus.
